Our goal is to take men from the bondages of drug and alcohol addiction, through a comprehensive program which can turn their lives around, ending all associated losses, and create sober, productive men, and families that are able to live the abundant and productive lives which God desires for us all.

About Us

In 1995, Michael Blacker was miraculously set free of over 10 years of drug and alcohol addiction.

After this life changing experience, God gave him a unique Ministry to pray for the sick, and experience many miraculous healings. Today, he has devoted his life to two different areas of Ministry. An Evangelistic Ministry, Pastor currently preaches in many different Churches throughout both Puerto Rico, and the United States. His uniquely gifted messages are sought out by many, and are frequently accompanied by miracles and dramatic healings. Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation. Having conquered the bondages of addiction, Pastor Michael has a unique gift to help many struggling with the same issues get free, and experience a special and permanent transformation of their lives.

OUR VISION

The purpose of A New Life Men’s Center is the rehabilitation of men throughout Puerto Rico. Taking men from the bondages of drug and alcohol addiction, we will introduce them to a program which can potentially turn their lives around, ending addictions, all associated losses, and create sober, productive men who will be able to support themselves, their families, and communities.

A New Life Men’s Center will provide a 9 month Residential Program for men desiring to overcome addictions. The program will use Christian Discipleship, and many professional resources, such as doctors, dentists, psychiatrists, nutritional planning, vocational training and placement, personal and family counseling as well as daily responsibilities within the facility, and on the farm, to rehabilitate residents, and prepare them for assimilation into sober, and productive family lives.

The center of our organization is the Bible, and the value of living successful Christian lives. The purpose of man’s life is not to be lost in addictions, hopelessness, and eventual death, but rather to be productive for ourselves, families, and communities.

The Ministry of our Director, Pastor Michael Blacker

After many months of excruciating back pain, this woman couldn’t bend over and was considering back surgery. After prayers, she was immediately healed, and could bend over and touch her toes perfectly.

This young man in a rehabilitation program suffered a severe ankle sprain while playing basketball. Before prayers, the ankle was extremely swollen, and was too painful to place any weight on it. After a series of Prayers, the swelling immediately went down, and his ankle was completely healed. Many of his companions, who were with him when he suffered the injury, and had seen him earlier that day, were absolutely amazed to see him running into their classroom, holding the crutches up in the air.

This young man entered a rehabilitation program extremely overweight. Several days after his enrollment, Pastor Michael met him. Having trouble sleeping, experiencing terrible pains in his neck area, and down his back, he was prepared to leave the program, and return to his life of hopelessness and drug addiction. After hearing Pastor’s preaching that day, and prayers, he was set free of the pains immediately, and remained in the program, successfully completing it. The tremendous transformation of his life is evident in this graduation photo, clearly demonstrating a miraculous before and after.

We first met Pastor Michael when he came to preach in our Church in Connecticut in 2015. He prayed for Jesenia at the end of the Service, and she was set free of many things.

He has since become great friends with all of our family. He has always been available to talk with us about anything and always leaves us with a Special Prayer that helps us deeply.

A recent visit to the Hospital when our daughter had some problems was greatly needed. We look forward to seeing the great things this humble and compassionate Pastor will do for the men and families of Puerto Rico.
